Nick studied Economics and Political Science at Gonzaga University, followed by M.A. and Ph.D. degrees in Economics from George Mason University. His doctoral dissertation examined corporate strategies for managing regulatory risk, and that same focus extends into his current practice, helping to manage both the risks and opportunities life can throw at you.
Nick is a published author and has been quoted in financial publications including Business Insider, Bankrate, MSN Money, and others. Before opening his independent practice, Nick worked in the Greater Los Angeles area providing advice on public pension and retirement plans. His wife, Melanie, is an Assistant Professor of Economic History at the London School of Economics.
